ARESIBO

AdMeS is participating in a 2019 research project called ARESIBO that is co – funded by the European Commission.

ARESIBO aims at improving the efficiency of the border surveillance systems by providing the operational teams and the tactical command and control level with an accurate and comprehensive information.

The role of ADMES in ARESIBO will be twofold:

(a) ADMES will work on the Underwater Sensors & Acoustic Measurements subsystem

(b) ADMES will contribute to the development of the ARESIFO SFE  (Real-time sensor-fusion and interoperable provision of data).

ARESIBO (Horizon 2020 –H2020-SU-SEC-2018) is co-funded by the European Commission which aims to improve the efficiency of border surveillance systems by providing the operational teams and the tactical command and control level with accurate and comprehensive information.
The role of AdMeS was:
i. The initial construction of fully autonomous underwater sensors (hydrophones) as well as the development/installation of a hydrophone system in a specific location.
