AdMeS was asked to train the PPC’s hydroelectric plant staff at Kastraki in the fields of vibration theory and analysis, measurement and balancing.
The staff, after having received the necessary theoretical knowledge in the first few days, went to the field where their practical training took place, learning the way measurements are taken and according to the settings required for each machine. The measurements were taken in an electric motor, a compressor and one of the four hydro-turbines.
Subsequently, measurements were displayed, followed by the presentation and recording of problems for the machines measured.
Another part of the training included the balancing where it included the theoretical part of the balancing and on-site balancing unit.
