Vibration analysis on Vestas V47 wind turbines

The technical team of our company carried out vibration measurements and thermal imaging of the bearings on Vestas V47 wind turbine. 22 measurements were made at 10 positions (main bearings, gearbox, generator). The analysis were made for all important parts of the wind turbine and more specifically for investigating the operating condition of the bearings, the gear mesh of the gearbox and the generator. The thermal imaging was done at all critical points of the generator.
